How long does conveyancing take? For relatively simple sale or purchase, expect the conveyancing of your property to take on average 2 to 3 months.

The Legal Ombudsman advises “Be wary of referrals and recommendations” There are lots of vested interests in the property transaction; estate agents, mortgage brokers and mortgage lenders might all suggest lawyers for you to use.
